Blu-ray 25GB 6x

Verbatim now offer 25GB of storage capacity with a 6x speed, ideal for recording high definition, backing up large amounts of data and long-term archiving of files. Blu-ray BD-R 25GB 6x discs offer up to 5 times the capacity of a DVD-R and use a newly developed inorganic recording layer called MABL. MABL is a patented technology that ensures perfect recording on every disc.

100GB Blu-ray

Today, Blu-ray discs come with storage capacities of 25GB for a single layer disc and 50GB for a double layer disc.  The Research and Development team at Mitsubishi Kagaku Media enables Verbatim to be at the forefront of Blue Laser Technology and to develop leading-edge techology such as this triple-layer 100GB capacity disc,  The new media will be produced in Mitsubishi Kagaku Media’s Mizushima factory and is expected to be in the market early in 2012.
