With all the high capacity and portability benefits of SSD storage, there is the danger that the drive and the critical information contained on it could be lost or stolen. Verbatim's Secure SSD solves this problem with the first Premium AES 256-bit encrypted SSD ExpressCard.
Verbatim's SSD Secure ExpressCard is a hot pluggable, high security solid state disk drive suitable for use in any 34mm or 54mm ExpressCard slot equipped laptop or notebook computer, providing a convenient way to add storage capacity without increasing the footprint of the laptop with external devices or going inside the case to install hardware.
The SSD Secure ExpressCard protects your important files and folders with 256-bit Hardware Encryption and password protection software. It also has multiple access rights, enabling the main user to provide a guest user with a seperate password and access to the folders and/or file types that they have determined. The guest will not be able to see folders that were defined as blocked for Guest or be able to access or copy files of the file types defined as blocked for Guest.
