Verbatim's eSATA / USB Combo SSD is simple to use, providing fast read/write speeds via the eSATA interface. Plug into any powered eSATA port and then drag over your folders and files. The EasyLock Software that is included on the drive lets you drag and drop your documents onto your SSD and it intuitively encrypts them on the fly.
The EasyLock Software provides 256bit AES Encryption, ensuring a secure means to transport sensitive company information, eliminating the risk of data being lost or stolen. The software is fully portable with no installation required on the host PC. It remains on the storage device.
The eSATA interface will provide fast read/write speeds if a powered eSATA port is available on your PC or Notebook. However, if the PC/Notebook's eSATA port is not powered then connection can be made via the included USB (Power) / eSATA Y-cable. Alternatively, the SSD can use the standard USB port, providing standard read/write speeds as shown above.
