Egham, 17th December 2008 Fast reading and writing on Flash storage media has become even easier with the USB card readers from Verbatim. A Pocket Card Reader is available for following formats: microSD/microSDHC, SD/miniSD and Memory Stick. The USB 2.0 Hi-Speed Universal Memory Card Reader with five slots for all memory formats offers the perfect, easy-to-use solution. The card readers are now available in shops. Measuring 86 x 49 x 15 mm, the new Universal Memory Card Reader from Verbatim is small and handy. This light device weighing 74 grammes fits in any shirt or trouser pocket, guaranteeing total mobility for the user. As well as the USB 2.0 Hi-Speed connection, the card reader has five slots for all storage formats. A key feature is its compatibility with SDHC and microSDHC cards and its "2 in 1" slot that fits both micro SD and Sony M2 cards. A blue LED light indicates when data is being transferred. The package includes a USB connector cable and the plug 'n' play function that eliminates the need for prior installation of the card reader.
The new card reader series includes a further three devices in pocket format. Verbatim's Pocket Card Readers for memory sticks, for microSDs and microSDHCs, and for SD and miniSD cards are even smaller and more handy but just as easy to use.
