Eschborn, September 2006 - Verbatim will present the second generation of its MP3 players in September. The three new members of the accessories family all have either LCD or OLED displays and offer between 10 and 15 hours of unadulterated music pleasure. Music files in either MP3 or in WMA format can be rapidly transferred to the player via the USB port.

As was the case with the previous model, saved data can be organised into folders and files in an easy-to-follow manner. As the MP3 player will be available worldwide, the menu will be available with a whole host of languages pre-installed. All three models will be available at the beginning of October 2006.

Store ‘n’ Play MP3 Player VM-205

The Store ‘n’ Play MP3 Player VM-205 is aimed above all at the younger generation: With its stylish and slim design, coupled with the fact that it weighs less than 40 g, it can be easily and conveniently transported. All saved files can be organised on both a folder and song level, meaning that tracks can be quickly called up. The Store ‘n’ Play MP3 Player VM-205 can be upgraded from 256 MB to more than 4 GB thanks to its SD card slot, giving the user storage space for up to a further 1,500 songs. The new VM-205 MP3 player will retail at 39.99 euros.

The Store ‘n’ Play MP3 Player VM-01 is equipped with a memory of 1GB, enough to store up to 250 songs, and has a larger display than its two new siblings. At 64.99 euros it is in the mid-range price category.

It will be available for 79.99 euros.
