Can SOHO NAS be set up as an FTP server?

Yes, you can enable FTP in the Web Based Administrative Tool. Once enabled you will need to use your router/switch to map a public WAN IP address to the folder you would like to share through FTP. This would basically allow access to any of your files anywhere using the internet.
