Can I record Audio files onto a data CD-R?

It is possible to create audio CDs using Verbatim data CD-Rs.

"Data" discs can record audio files but only through data drives as audio recorders will not recognise them. "Audio" discs can however be used in audio recorders and data drives as they may also store data files. Compatibility between audio discs and audio players is higher then with data discs.
