London, 1st of June 2011 – The new Store ‘n’ Go Executive HDD from Verbatim offers SuperSpeed USB 3.0, storage capacities of 500GB and 750GB and 256bit AES Hardware Encryption for highest data security. The Executive has a sleek, sophisticated design and is available in three high-class finishes: Graphite Grey, Silver and Glossy Black. A special feature of the Executive is the sensor touch button; similar to touch screens, by lightly touching the sensor touch button on the hard drive, users can activate preset functions. The Store ‘n’ Go Executive HDD is available in shops from June.

The Executive HDD is a convenient and reliable security storage device which can be used for a wide range of business purposes similar to any standard portable hard disk drive. With an obligatory password and the fact that the drive is managed by a security controller, all the data stored on the it is encrypted, ensuring complete protection from unauthorised viewing. The Executive HDD offers extremely high transfer rates when connected to USB 3.0 host systems. It is 100 percent backwards compatible with USB 2.0 systems as well
Additional software package
The Executive HDD comes with Nero Back it Up and Burn Software. In addition the Green Button software reduces energy consumption and extends the drive’s life expectancy by automatically placing the Verbatim Store `n` Go into sleep mode after a programmed period of time or by the user manually clicking on the Green Button on the desktop.
